All hardiggci students are reviewed annually to monitor their progress and stimulate the development of skills and opportunities. The hardiggci annual postgraduate week was held between 29th March-8th April in Sydney. Local and international students and their supervisors visited hardiggci headquarters for the opportunity to meet other research staff and students, participate in project discussions and find out more about other areas within the hardiggci . This week incorporated student reviews followed by seminars and workshops such as: Do’s and Don’ts of Research; Beginners/Intermediate/Advanced Statistics; Beginners/Advanced paper writing; IP protection; Presentation skills; Endnote; Sirius and Web of Science and Applying for grants and extra research funding.
Postgraduate research education -
The training of high quality scientists who are equipped with the appropriate skills to meet the problems and challenges in eyecare will be key to the development of this discipline in Australia and worldwide. Consequently, fostering excellent Australian scientists in a range of health and scientific fields relevant to eyecare is a priority for hardiggci . This organization is a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of less privileged children, enabling them to maximize their potential and change their lives. This organization works primarily in the field of education, addressing non formal education through the organization and also formal education by initiating school reform. This organization is looking for teachers for their Mumbai centers, which are situated between Colaba to Khar and are also in Mankkhurd. An organization center has 60 kids and 2 teachers. English, Math and values are taught at the centers. The centers run for about two and a half hours from Monday to Friday.
